ABOUT THE BOTTLE

1.) What is Mahaton smart bottle?

Mahaton smart bottle is a self-purifying bottle that uses UV-C LED technology to kill DNA & RNA strand of dangerous viruses, bacteria and other microorganism.

2.) How it works?

Just turn on the bottle by pressing the touch button (Mahaton logo) and double tap the logo to start the cleaning cycle.

3.) What if my bottle doesn’t turn on?

Well, probably you need to charge the battery. That’s why we packed the wireless charger in the box for you. 

4.) Do I need to wash the bottle?

If you feel that you need to clean it, feel free to clean it under water - it’s completely waterproof. But as the bottle is self-purifying, you can always turn on the cleaning cycle any time.

5.) Does the bottle keep water cold or hot?

Yes, your Mahaton bottle will keep the water cold for up to 24 hours or hot up to 12 hours.

6.) How often do I need to charge the bottle?

We charge the bottle once in a month, but it depends how often are you turning on the cleaning cycle. If you use it 3-4 times per day, the battery should last for up to 3-4 weeks.

7.) How do I charge the bottle?

Mahaton bottle can be charged wirelessly via the wireless charger packed in the box. Check if the blue light is breathing (that’s when your bottle is in charging mode). If the blue light stays on, the bottle is fully charged.

8.) What does the orange colour mean?

Orange means somethings not good. Either the lid is not tighten (flashing orange light) or the battery needs charging (orange light breathing).

9.) What is the capacity of the bottle? 

The capacity of the Mahaton smart bottle is 350 ml. 

10.) Can I put ice in the bottle?

Sure, why not? Everybody loves cold water, right?

11.) Can I put only water in the bottle?

No, feel free to fill up the bottle with any other drink you like. But bear in mind that the purification of water is effective in 99,9 % only with water. Purifying other beverages can be less effective. And also, you need to clean the bottle after with soapy water.

12.) Can I put it in the dishwasher?

No, don’t put your Mahaton smart bottle in the dishwasher, freezer or microwave.

13.) Can I use my Mahaton bottle while flying?

Yup, sure thing! Take it with you on your flights, but you need to empty it before the security check. 

14.) Can I clean non-drinkable water with the bottle?

Well, kind of. Our UV-C LED technology can eliminate 99,9 % of germs, bacteria and viruses, but it will not remove chemicals or heavy metals from the water. So it depends on the water source. 

 

SHIPPING, RETURNS & WARRANTY

Mahaton Slovakia offers a 2-year limited warranty on all bottles purchased from www.mahaton.sk. The warranty covers the repair or replacement of any defective material or component. If we are unable to repair or replace the faulty material or component, we will submit a refund. The warranty does not cover any issues due to normal wear and tear, misuse or loss of the bottle.

We accept returns of any unused Mahaton bottles in its original packaging within 30 days of the purchase date. If you want to return your bottle, please inform us at info@mahaton.sk and our Customer Care team will help you with the process.
